Family portrait

Hello Arty Souls:)

Today I have for you a family portrait which I create as custom order for wedding gift. Every time I create family portrait I try to gather as much information about family and they interest as possible so  I can include some of them in the painting. Here mum is working with theatre and dad loves superheros :) I also ask for photo so I can work on family look :) Every time I create this kind of portrait I put all my heart into it and I always try to imagine would that make me happy? If the answer if YES, then I am satisfied:)

In this project I used acrylics by Daily Art Polska which comes in many colours and they are fantastic to work with:). When the painting was completely dry, I covered in with daily Art Satin Varnish.

Testing new paints by Prima Marketing and new skills of painting flowers with Donna Downey

Hello Arty Friends:)          

     Today I am testing new 'Impasto Painst' designed by Finnabair and Prima Marketing:) These are acrylic heavy body paints with creamy consistency and reach colour. I absolutely LOVE them. They are just perfect if you want opaque effect, very useful for adding layers in mixed media projects. They are thick and creamy and the coverage is very good. If you apply them with palette knife you can create very thick 3D texture.They also have beautiful color palette and my favourite of course is 'Jade' which is beautiful turquoise. There are also few shades or stunning pinks:) I am hoping that there will be new colours in the future. I would love to see indigo gray and some cream:) I bought them in Mixed Media Place And the cute flowers on my fairy's dress??? I learned how to paint them in  Donna Downey 's 'Floral abstract' online workshop. Donna is brilliant teacher and make it so easy to learn. Fantastic Workshop in Ireland

Hello Dear Friends!

Today I have for you little feedback from my residential workshop in Ireland:) 

I absolutely enjoyed every minuet of this creative fun with incredible women!!!Thank You to all of you who attended. Your creativity blew my mind!!!! And we had an amazing host Agnieszka whose  funny attitude kept us all entertained:))))) 

There were two workshops: watercolour fairies in the morning and mixed media dream catcher in the afternoon. Everybody came up with amazing projects!!! During both workshops we were using new Acrylic Flows and Liquarel Watercolours kindly sponsored by Renesans. Center pieces o dream catchers- beautiful molds were sponsored by Foamiran Ireland. I started making Birth Certificates/ Plates for children:)) And I love making them!!! I customize every painting according to client's wish. I just need bio info about child and I will incorporate them into fairytale watercolour painting. It is a great idea for a gift for christening or birthdays!!! For older children I can also include their favourite colours or toys:) I am also planning to make these for couples for wedding gift:)))

Dziś chciałam przedstawić Wam mój nowy projekt (powstał dzięki pomysłowi mojej koleżanki Moniki))) Oto bajkowe metryczki dla maluchów i nie tylko;) Uwielbiam je malować! Każdy taki akwarelowy obrazek powstaje na życzenie klienta, który podaje dane dziecka. A juz moja w tym głowa by wkomponować informacje w bajkowy obrazek:). Jest to super prezent na chrzciny, czy urodziny. Starszym dzieciom można dodać ich ulubione zabawki czy kolory;) Planuję także zacząć malować takie pamiątkowe obrazki również na prezent ślubny (np para nowożeńców z datą ślubu).

Dreamcatchers

Hello Arty Souls!

I feel the springtime is coming so I decided to go back to designing dremacatchers. I LOVE them as they they are an original paintings of mine captured in a form of dreamcatcher which in magicl ways keep your bad dreams away:) They are also great gift for communion or birthday. They can be also customized with a name:)

They really take hour to make as I paint a mixed media painting on fabric with layers of paints, decorative papers and stamps. Then I carefully match the 'tail' which colours match with painting. For tail I use laces, trims, wool and pieces of Indian sari.
