Testing new paints by Prima Marketing and new skills of painting flowers with Donna Downey

Hello Arty Friends:)          

     Today I am testing new 'Impasto Painst' designed by Finnabair and Prima Marketing:) These are acrylic heavy body paints with creamy consistency and reach colour. I absolutely LOVE them. They are just perfect if you want opaque effect, very useful for adding layers in mixed media projects. They are thick and creamy and the coverage is very good. If you apply them with palette knife you can create very thick 3D texture.They also have beautiful color palette and my favourite of course is 'Jade' which is beautiful turquoise. There are also few shades or stunning pinks:) I am hoping that there will be new colours in the future. I would love to see indigo gray and some cream:) I bought them in Mixed Media Place And the cute flowers on my fairy's dress??? I learned how to paint them in  Donna Downey 's 'Floral abstract' online workshop. Donna is brilliant teacher and make it so easy to learn. This Birthday is special for me because I have my little babygirl  in my life now!!!! And she is the best gift I could possibly dream off. I love  painting  girls and fairies and I think one of them just came out from the painting and become real! you tell me: Isn't she the cutest fairy ever?

This is my memory frame made on a piece of wood. For this project I used vintage book pages, lace, flowers by Prima, other flowers from my stash, metal embellishments and resin frame by Prima, word sticker by 7Dots Studio

Flower Power :)

Apart of painting girls, birds and hearts, I love painting and making flowers. Very often I paint or collage background and add 3D flowers made of paper or fabric. These two paintings are my recent one :)
